Rupture Disks act as reliable economical pressure relief safety devices in plastic extruders. The Rowe Equipment Rupture Disks have bodies constructed of stainless steel with inconel diaphragms. The Inconel Disk material ensures the Extruder Burst Plugs will instantly rupture at a specific pressure over a wide temperature range.

The Rupture Disks offered by Rowe Equipment prevent dangerous and sudden pressure increases in the machine and releases pressure by rupturing, providing reliable relief in applications where rapid pressure buildup can occur, protecting both personnel and equipment. ±0.5% accuracy and a wide pressure range make the Rowe Equipment Rupture Disks a valid addition to traditional control devices. They are available in different lengths and are supplied with pressure ratings ranging from 1,000 psi (70 bar) to 10,000 psi (750 bar).
